Hurricane Norbert weakened to a Category 3 storm early Thursday as it churned through the Pacific Ocean toward Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
Hurricane Norbert, an "extremely dangerous" Category 4 hurricane, began its expected turn toward the Baja peninsula late Wednesday, forecasters said.

Mexico had storms off both coasts late Monday night, with Hurricane Norbert forming off its western coast and Tropical Storm Marco menacing its eastern coast.
